I wanted to use the Law series to highlight some of the items I have spoke about in other comics. This time we are looking at the Law of the firstborn and first fruits. We are told Abel brings the first fruits of his harvest, while Cain just brings something. It doesn’t say it is the first fruits. When we look into the Law, we see God saying over and over that He gets the first fruits and the first born. They belong to Him. We also see mercy and grace being given in this account as well. God doesn’t punish Cain for not bringing the right thing, but encourages him to do better.
