One that really doesn’t make sense when you think about it. Although I have never heard anyone say these two things in the same sentence, this is a very commonly held belief: you can do all things through Christ, but the Law is too hard and no one can keep it. However, this is not Biblically accurate. God tells us the Law is not difficult. Then we have Yeshua teaching and preaching the same Law and saying His yoke is easy.
I think part of why people don’t realize that Yeshua was teaching and preaching the same Law that God gave Moses is that He didn’t go into the intricate details of it. Why would He? At the time the Jews were more worried about checking off every command like it was some checklist. There was no love in what they were doing. We see this in the different examples of Jesus healing people and the Pharisee’s throwing a fit about it. They were more concerned with the letter of the Law, as Paul puts it, rather than the spirit of the Law. Yeshua even rebukes them for this very thing in Matthew 23:23. Not getting on to them for keeping some aspects of the Law, but not having the love the Law teaches while maintaining the other aspects of it.
