The Law of Moses is the Law of God, but there are those that do not think so. They associate only the 10 Commandments as the Law of God. If this were the case, why would Jesus/Yeshua not pick one of those commands as the greatest? Or even the second greatest, as He did with Leviticus 19:18? How could Moses’ commands be greater than God’s commands?

Or let’s look at it this way. A lot of those that see the Law of Moses and the Law of God as two different things say the Law of God is for everyone whereas the Law of Moses is just for Israel, but God gave both sets of commands. If this is the case, then these two commandments don’t apply to those of us that are not native born Israelites. So we don’t need to love God, or love our neighbor. Can someone be saved and hate God or other people? According to the Bible, no. So these would apply, but if they apply, why wouldn’t the others surrounding it? Like all of Leviticus 19:3? Or Lev. 19:5? Lev. 19:30? Lev. 19:37? There is no marker while God is speaking in this chapter that says “Okay, this is for Israel: command command command, Wait, these are for everyone: command command, okay now back to Israel: command command…”

Yeshua followed the Law of Moses and taught others to do so as well. Are you?
