Ecclesiastes 1:9 tells us that there is nothing new under the sun. What has happened, will happen again. History is cyclical. The question then begs, what do we have in our own lives that God does not approve of, that has been taken from the pagans and He considers abominable, that we shrug off and say “well, that is not what it means to me!” or “He knows my heart.” ?
