With the thinking that the Instructions are just for the Jews, there are a couple of misconceptions that are being made. The first is forgetting that there are ten other tribes in Israel. That right after Solomon, Israel split into two kingdoms: Israel and Judea. The second is forgetting it wasn't just the children of Jacob/Israel that were at the mount. There was a mixed multitude of people that followed the Israelites out of Egypt. These people left their people and joined themselves with Israel. Caleb is an example of one of these that followed.
