It seems it has been 2 years since my last Comic Status post. I did a minor update one earlier this year, but nothing about all the stuff I’ve talked about before. I’ll try to condense it down.

WEBSITE: New website is up and active at straightandnarrowcomics.com A lot of the older comics are pending being uploaded. That was supposed to be my major task over the summer, but with being sick most of the summer I wasn’t able to get to it. Hopefully, I can get those up in the upcoming months. I have been posting everything new there, most of the time before my normal schedule. So, if you want a sneak peak, look at the site the night before. I have a few pages I want to add to the site once I get the comics going as well.

BOOKS: Another thing I wanted to work on during the summer. I have two books ready to be put together: “ATTS – Gospels + Acts” and “Portions – Read the Bible in a Year-ish”. I’ve been throwing around a third one in my head as well: “Mini-Series Volume 1” (putting together several of those little mini-series that I have done like the Law Series and Nothing but Grace Bakery). If there is anything you would like to see please let me know. ALSO on books, with the “Torah 4 Churchies” I added a Kindle option and surprisingly (to me) it hasn’t been doing bad. My thought is if you were doing digital, just use the site. It seems some people still like using books over websites, even digitally. I plan to convert the rest of the books at some time in the future as well.

EMAIL LIST: In case you missed it, I did get an email list going earlier this year and I send a weekly digest of the comics. SOCIAL MEDIA: I know the main goal of this is to be posted to social media, but let me know where you are at and if there is somewhere I should be that I am not. You may have seen the post I did recently showing that FB is now limiting posts with links by creators. I have found a way around it for now, but it is only a matter of time before that gets shutdown as well. This is where the email list comes in handy as then we don’t have to worry about a platform deciding to change everything. With this latest change by FB, I have seen some say they are switching over to or at least putting more focus on their X (twitter) account. I did X once before and didn’t really get any traction there. I find my best engagement and reach comes from Instagram (which is of course owned by FB).
